These beautifully woven trays are made from locally grown ugwafu grasses in the tri-border between Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania. The natural grass has a wonderful green lustre to it and the shape with integrated handle makes them useful for many purposes. Ideal for taking breakfast in bed or for keeping some lovely plants in, they are versatile and sturdy.
They are made by an artisan partner based in Tanzania who produces these beautiful trays. Their mission is to support women refugees to become entrepreneurs whilst using the natural materials that grow around them to create income and business skills for independence.
Made in Tanzania by WomenCraft.
