The Soko project has helped over 1300 independent craftsmen transform their mobile phones into business tools, enabling artisan communities in the developing world to not only participate, but also to compete in the challenging world of fashion. On average, artisans' income increases five-fold by working with Soko. Originally founded in Nairobi (Kenya) by three women - Gwendolyn Floyd, Catherine Mahugu and Ella Peinovich - Soko relocated to San Francisco (U.S.A.) in 2015 due to its worldwide success.
Since brass is a natural alloy it will gradually darken over time with exposure to oxygen and moisture.
Treat it with love: remove jewelry before participating in physical activity or going to bed.
Prolong its life: store your jewelry in a cloth bag away from natural sunlight and heat.
Keep it shiny: use a gentle metal polisher and a soft cloth to remove tarnish and restore luster. You can also use home ingredients: mix lemon juice and baking soda into a paste, rub onto surface with a cloth, then rinse off and buff dry to a shine.
Keep away from water: Our metals don’t mix well with moisture. Avoid contact with water, lotion and perfume.
To care for your horn jewelry, avoid exposure to excessive moisture or sunlight. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
